Read-only and requires no authentication. It matches only the beginning of the name (not descriptions or keywords) and covers tracked packages only, about 34,000 across npm, PyPI, crates.io and Packagist. Use it when you do not know the exact package or model name before calling package_status, list_versions or model_status; it is not a way to discover packages by what they do.
