Make several charts at once and put each on a portal's dashboard as a card: «make me a dashboard», «a chart for each metric». ONE call for all of them. Each chart: a name, a type, its table, the field along the X axis (a date or a number field puts each record's value there; a dropdown, radio or checkbox field one bar per choice) and the number field(s) it shows. The whole call is checked first: a table or a field that is not there, a series over a field that holds no number, or a name the project's charts already have makes nothing, and the answer says which. Up to 30 charts.
