Prepare a French company's VAT return (CA3) for one period from its posted ledger, as a filled PDF stored in the workspace. Well prepares the return; the company files it on impots.gouv.fr. Nothing is filed, sent or paid. The PDF is the input of the `fill-ca3` browser skill, which types it into the online form and hands the form over before submit. Call it when the person asks to prepare or file their VAT return, after the VAT position of the period was read with `well_get_vat_summary`. Pass no window for the last period that has ended (the previous month for a monthly filer, the previous quarter for a quarterly one), or `from` and `to` (YYYY-MM-01, `to` exclusive) for one named period. The period follows the company's filing frequency from its tax profile: - `status: "frequency_unknown"`: the profile holds no filing frequency. Ask once whether the company files every month or every quarter, save the answer with `well_upsert_accounting_settings`, and call again. Never assume one. - `no_vat_return`: the company is in the VAT franchise and files no VAT return. `annual_return`: it files one annual CA12, which Well does not prepare. - `period_not_ended`: a month of the window is still running. Well prepares no return before its period ends. - `not_return_periods` or `invalid_window`: the window is not whole return periods of the company's frequency. - `several_returns`: the window holds several periods. `periods` lists them: one return per period, so prepare each with its own call. Then the figures, read the same way as `well_get_vat_summary`: - `not_fileable`: the ledger holds a figure the return cannot place, listed in `reasons` (`unattributed_collected_vat`, `unattributed_deductible_vat`, `unmapped_rate_percent`, `directionless_taxable_base`, `reverse_charge_present`, `negative_line`). No PDF is printed: say why and stop. - `no_posted_entries`: the period holds no posted VAT entry. This is not a nil return: no PDF is printed. - `unsupported_jurisdiction` (not France), `unsupported_currency` (the books are not kept in EUR), `range_too_large`, `failed`: no PDF. On `ok`: `document_id` names the PDF, the value of the `document` input of the `fill-ca3` skill. `lines` lists every filled box by its printed line code and column, in whole euros. `vat_due` (line TD) or `vat_credit` (line 25) is the result. `checks` lists what the person checks before filing: say each one. Never say the return is filed. When the token authorizes one workspace, call this directly — no workspace call is needed first. When it authorizes several, this read will not guess which one you mean: pass `workspace_id` on the call.
