Read a receipt link someone passed you. Returns what the page at /r/{sha256} shows: what the entry proves (these bytes existed by the time of lodgement, not that they are true), whether the fingerprint is on the register, the receipt the link carries and whether its signature checks against the Court’s key, and four options with what each commits you to: check it offline (nothing), sign it back to the lodger with your own key (nothing to Peregrini), lodge the same fingerprint (enrolment), or do nothing (no consequence). Without a key you read it as a stranger; the Court’s answer about who lodged and whether both sides did goes only to the parties (PD8 §3). An unknown fingerprint is answered with what that means.
