Per storm: name, classification, Saffir-Simpson category, current position (lat/lon), max sustained winds (kt + km/h), minimum pressure, movement (heading + speed), and a link to the latest public advisory and cone graphic. `basin` = "all" (default) | "atlantic" (North Atlantic + Caribbean + Gulf of America) | "epac" (Eastern + Central North Pacific). Off-season or quiet periods may return zero storms — this is the correct honest state. Source: NOAA NHC (nhc.noaa.gov) — US government public domain (17 U.S.C. § 105), keyless. Coverage: Atlantic + Eastern/Central Pacific ONLY (not Australian region, Western Pacific, or Indian Ocean). Every value is returned in an Ed25519-signed, provenance-stamped envelope (source and observation time) you can verify offline against /.well-known/keys, no account required.
