Save the requested creator-brief edits as a new version without modifying or deleting prior versions. Unspecified fields, evidence lineage and pinned context are preserved; supplied arrays replace that field in the new version (null arrays clear it). Supply briefId or opportunityKey. A stale base version is rejected. Reuse editId on retry; an unchanged retry can return NO_CHANGES before replaying the original result, so read the saved brief to verify its version. Without editId, retries may create additional versions. A successful write returns the saved brief, version and deduplication status. No collection cost. Changes only the requested workspace state. Backend authorization, validation and any quote/approval, budget and idempotency controls remain authoritative; tool selection does not authorize additional work.
