Works out compensation for a delayed or cancelled flight under UK261 or EU261. Takes the flight number and date. What happened comes from flight-status records, which cover about the last year, or from what_happened and arrival_delay_minutes when given. Returns the matched route, the arrival delay, the distance band, the amount per passenger, the extraordinary-circumstances caveat, the airline’s claim page, the dispute body for a refused claim, deadline guidance, a claim pack and the details needed to save the claim to an Untap account. When the airports given differ from the flight-status record, the result says so. No sign-in needed. Nothing is saved to an account. A record of the check, with no name, account or IP address, is kept for a year so answers can be verified.
