Design a basemap. Write semantic overrides such as roads.motorway.color or labels.city.font against a preset and get back the compiled style hash, a per-key diff, validation issues and the semantic-to-render-layer map. Start with operation explain to read the layer namespace, or schema for the JSON Schema a manifest must satisfy; both are free and need no key. operation intent turns a plain-language purpose into a semantic proposal, reporting which terms it understood and why each changed what it did — the manifest it returns is the source of truth and is editable like any other, and this service never accepts raw MapLibre JSON. revisions lists a profile’s immutable versions and diff says what changed between two of them in semantic terms rather than in compiled layers. preview compiles without storing anything. save stores the result as a named profile on this key and returns a style URL you can hand to any MapLibre client, plus a download URL for the manifest; list and delete manage them. A preview never changes what anyone else is served, and saving affects only this key's own profiles. Requires a subscription key for everything except explain.
