Requires OAuth or a developer API key; not a pure read because it may update lastPolledAt, sync downstream task state, update logs, and deliver one pending terminal webhook. It does not create work, spend credits, cancel jobs, delete data, or change assets. Poll sparingly using poll_after_ms or 10-30 second intervals.
