Compute a turn-by-turn route between 2 and 10 waypoints for auto, bicycle, pedestrian, truck, motor_scooter, or bus. Returns a GeoJSON LineString, distance, duration, and maneuver instructions. Set elevation true to also get a sampled terrain profile with total gain and loss, which lets you compare two routes for climbing rather than only distance. Requires a subscription key; shares REST quota. Covers the global OpenStreetMap road graph. Confirm a route is returned before relying on it, and never present results as safety-critical navigation.
