One received batch, decoded: its series with labels and values, or its NCPA checks. Remote Write (1.0 and 2.0), OTLP (protobuf or JSON) and NRDP become the same shape: `series` (`name`, `labels`, `points` as `[milliseconds, value]`, and `type`/`unit`/`help` when the collector sent them; OTLP points also carry `resource`, an index into `resources`) or `checks` for NCPA (`host`, `service`, `state` 0–3, `output`, `perfdata`). Very large batches keep the first 5,000 series (`truncated`). `newer`/`older` are the neighbouring batch ids, for moving through the history.
