Side-by-side comparison of 2-3 hedge funds on one real common 13F quarter: holding overlap (Jaccard similarity), DNA similarity, ratings, win rates, and common holdings. WHEN TO USE: User wants to compare hedge funds head-to-head. Examples: - "Compare Berkshire and Pershing Square" - "How similar are Renaissance and Two Sigma?" - "How do these funds' current disclosed holdings and research scores compare?" WHEN NOT TO USE: - Use analyze_fund when the user is asking about a single fund (no comparison needed) - Use search_filers only to discover candidates or resolve an ambiguous fund name; compare_funds resolves ordinary names directly PARAMETERS: Pro supports 2 funds; Pro+ and Enterprise support 3. Lower tiers receive access_limited without changing the input. RETURNS: The common portfolio quarter, per-fund component-filing sources, overlap matrix, explicitly scoped DNA/performance, ratings + AUM, the top 10 stocks held by 2+ compared funds, and the exact common-holding count. Missing enrichments are identified in data_status. VERIFICATION: Cite record-level `source_url` filing or disclosure links when present.
