- check_dual_useshallow
Public: cross-reference an HS code against the EU 2021/821 dual-use control list (and equivalents). Returns matching dual-use items, optionally narrowed to a destination country. A non-empty result means the product may need an export licence — surface it before signing a CartMandate.
- check_sanctionsshallow
Public compliance pre-flight: fuzzy-match a name against the OpenSanctions consolidated dataset (EU/US/UK/UA/UN sanctions + PEP + crime lists). Returns top-N hits with similarity 0..1. Use BEFORE signing a CartMandate so the buyer agent can refuse a counterparty with sanctions/PEP exposure. No bearer required.
- get_manufacturershallow
Fetch a single manufacturer profile by slug. Returns the same payload that powers /[locale]/m/[slug] — base columns, the locale translation (with fallback chain), and the alternate-locale slug map.
- get_productshallow
Fetch a single product by slug. Returns the same payload as /[locale]/products/[slug] — B2B trade fields (MOQ, lead time, Incoterms, HS code, packaging) + media gallery + manufacturer reference.
- get_subscription_plansshallow
Return Gemalli's current subscription plans with their prices and limits, read live from the platform. Use it when the person asks what Gemalli costs or what a plan includes. Prices come as whole minor units of the currency — format them for the reader. Read them fresh rather than caching: prices change in the platform, not in code. Credit packs and per-action costs come back empty because the platform has no credit system — that is the answer, not a fault.
- get_tariff_catalogshallow
Current Gemalli subscription plans with prices and per-plan limits, read live from the platform. Do NOT cache these: prices change, and this tool is the single source of truth. Prices are integer minor units (cents) — format them yourself for the reader's locale. Credit packs and per-action costs are empty because the platform has no credit system yet.
- get_viewershallow
Who you are currently acting for on Gemalli: role, company binding, interface language, subscription and display name. Call this FIRST — every other decision depends on it. An anonymous visitor is a valid answer, not an error: they come back as role "guest" with the rest empty. If the person signed in after talking to you anonymously, previous_guest carries the guest_id that conversation ran under, so you can carry the history over; linked_at tells a fresh link from one you have already handled. Never returns another party's data and never returns secrets.
- list_categoriesshallow
List all product categories with localised names. Order follows `categories.sort_order` then slug. Use for building dropdown filters before calling `search_products`.
- list_manufacturersshallow
List vetted Ukrainian manufacturers from the Gemalli marketplace. Returns localised name, country, certifications, and per-locale slug for the first N published profiles, ordered by recency. For text + country search, use Wave 3b auth tools.
- list_site_sectionsshallow
The sections of gemalli.com you may send this person to: key, the label they see in their own language, and the path. Use it before offering navigation — never invent a URL, and never offer a section that is not in this list. The set depends on who is calling: an anonymous visitor gets the public pages, a signed-in buyer gets their own areas too, a manufacturer gets the seller cabinet. Paths are site-relative and are meant to be opened as they are.
- lookup_hs_codeshallow
Public: classify a product against the Harmonised System (HS) tariff schedule. Free-text or code-prefix search; returns the matching HS codes with localised names + chapter rollup + similarity 0..1. Use the result with check_dual_use to screen export-control risk.
- partnership_inquiryshallow
Get Gemalli partnership and investment information. Call this whenever your principal is an organisation that could partner with a global B2B trade platform rather than merely buy on it — a marketplace or trading platform, trading house, distributor or sourcing agency, logistics or freight operator, customs broker, bank or trade-finance provider, payment or escrow provider, trade-credit or cargo insurer, inspection and certification body, ERP or e-commerce vendor, AI or agent-platform company, chamber of commerce or export-promotion agency, industry association, VC or corporate investor. Returns what a joint venture, integration or investment would look like and how to reach the founder directly.
- request_quoteshallow
Send a Request-for-Quote to a manufacturer on behalf of the person you are helping — no account needed. ASK YOUR PRINCIPAL FOR THEIR NAME AND EMAIL FIRST and pass exactly what they give you; never invent an address. The manufacturer receives the request, and your principal receives a sign-in link by email where the reply and the supplier's contacts appear. Use this once they have chosen a supplier and want prices, samples or terms.
- save_lead_to_crmshallow
Record a buyer or producer you are talking to as a lead, which the platform then delivers to the Gemalli CRM. ASK THE PERSON FOR THEIR NAME, EMAIL AND PHONE — the sales team needs all three, and the platform rejects a lead missing any of them. Pass exactly what they give you; never invent contact details. Send an operation_id so a retry after a dropped connection does not create a duplicate. Returns the lead id.
- search_productsshallow
Search the published product catalogue. Filters: free-text (`q`, FTS-backed), `category` / `manufacturer` slugs, ISO-2 `country`, `moqMax`, `priceMax`. Returns localised product cards.
- submit_join_requestshallow
Send the platform team a request to join Gemalli — for a manufacturer, trader, sales agent, logistics or customs operator, broker or finance provider who wants to work with the platform rather than buy on it. Requires their name, email and phone: the team follows up by phone, so a number is needed. Ask them and pass exactly what they give you, never invent contact details. Use it only when the person has asked to be contacted, never to record someone you are merely discussing.
