- check_coverageshallow
Checks whether moving-labor coverage is available in one or more United States ZIP codes. Returns which of the given ZIP codes are covered and which are not.
- create_marketplace_lfs_quoteshallow
Saves an LFS (local full service) quote and returns the Quote Public Key, Grand Total, and Checkout URL based on the provider selected.
- create_marketplace_quoteshallow
Saves a quote and returns a marketplace Quote ID, for a specific provider. This tool BOOKS a provider -- it does not discover one. Before calling, call list_service_providers (needs only the move date and loading ZIP; optionally accepts labor hours, crew size, sort order, service type, flights of stairs, and resultFormat) to find available providers, then take the chosen provider's location id from that result and pass it as workerLocationID. The input schema marks workerLocationID as optional, but a marketplace quote cannot be created without it -- omitting it returns a 400 ("WorkerLocationID must be between 1 and 2147483647"). Takes the full create-quote request and returns the raw result.
- get_lfs_move_estimateshallow
Calculates labor hours, crew size, and truck size range for a local full-service (LFS) move. Takes the full LFS estimator request and returns the raw result.
- get_move_size_recommendationshallow
Recommends how much moving help a job needs (suggested labor hours and crew size) for the load and unload locations, based on the size of the move. You MUST provide at least one of squareFeet or linearFeet to describe the size of the goods -- a call with neither is rejected. Also provide flights of stairs at each location. Optionally include counts of heavy items, which increase the recommended crew and hours.
- get_provider_detailsshallow
Gets detailed profile information for a specific moving provider location, including name, average review rating, years in business, total moves completed, equipment, credentials, and service coverage area (city, state, ZIP, and service radius). Requires a known providerId and providerLocationId.
- get_provider_reviewsshallow
Gets customer reviews for a specific moving provider, newest first, paginated. For 'recent' or 'last N months' requests, compute the cutoff date yourself and pass it as startDate (yyyy-MM-dd): only reviews on/after that date are returned and the paging counts reflect the filtered set (a real server-side filter, not a sort). Each review includes rating, summary text, reviewer display name, move location, and date.
- get_quote_completion_urlshallow
Gets the completion (checkout) URL for a specific quote by quote key, WITHOUT sending an email or SMS to the customer.
- get_starting_priceshallow
Retrieves the 'starting at' price for moving labor services in a specific United States ZIP code. The returned price is a flat estimated starting total for the stated hours and crew size, not an hourly rate. Do NOT divide it by hours or by crew to derive a per-hour rate. For the true per-hour figure (extraHourRate) and a full pricing breakdown, call list_service_providers with resultFormat=Full.
- get_supported_service_typesshallow
Lists which moving-labor service types are supported in a 5-digit US ZIP code: labor-only (standard), labor-only (elite, background-checked crews), movers + truck (full service), and packing (an add-on to a labor booking). Use this to answer 'what moving service types do you have in my area'. This is a coverage/catalog answer (what is supported here), not a date-specific availability check -- for providers available on a given date use list_service_providers.
- list_service_providersshallow
Lists moving-labor service providers serving a 5-digit US ZIP code on a given date, factoring in availability. This is the primary way to discover which providers serve an area. Resolve any city/state the user gives you to a single 5-digit ZIP yourself before calling; if the location is ambiguous, ask the user to confirm which ZIP. Results include providers that cannot currently be booked (canBook=false with reasonsCantShow) and are ordered per sortOrder: best price -> PriceLowToHigh, most expensive -> PriceHighToLow, best quality/highest rated -> QualityRating, most reviews -> MostReviewed, soonest available -> Availability, best match (marketplace default) -> BestMatch. When serviceType is MoversPlusTruck, unloadingZipCode (the destination ZIP) is required or the request is rejected by the Partner API. resultFormat controls the shape: Compact (default) returns a trimmed list where startingPrice is a flat estimated starting total for the quoted job size, not an hourly rate; Full returns the complete raw provider list and pricing breakdown. Interpreting pricing (labor-only / Standard): there is NO single "$X per hour" rate. Do NOT compute one by dividing price by hours, or by crew x hours. In the Compact (default) shape the only price field is startingPrice: present it as a flat estimated starting total for the job size you passed (laborHours/crewSize), and call again with resultFormat=Full when you need the per-hour breakdown. In the Full shape, price is a flat estimated starting total for actualNumHours hours with actualCrewSize crew -- it is not an hourly rate; the only true per-hour figure is extraHourRate (the cost of each additional hour of labor beyond the base). In the Full shape state pricing as: "$<price> for <actualCrewSize> movers for <actualNumHours> hours, plus $<extraHourRate>/hr for any additional time." Prefer serviceMiniDescription and publicNotices verbatim when present. Never present a single blended hourly rate.
- rank_best_providersshallow
Ranks the moving providers available for a move and returns them in the order requested by sortOrder, each with its arrival windows. The caller chooses the ordering: best price -> PriceLowToHigh, most expensive -> PriceHighToLow, best quality / highest rated -> QualityRating, most reviews -> MostReviewed, soonest available -> Availability, best match / marketplace default -> BestMatch (the default when omitted). Providers that cannot be booked (no availability or no price) are returned separately in an 'excluded' list with the reason. Use this when the caller wants a recommendation rather than the full provider list. Pricing: each provider's price is a flat estimated starting total for the requested job (the laborHours and crewSize you passed), not an hourly rate. Do NOT divide it to derive a per-hour rate. For the true per-hour figure (extraHourRate) and a full pricing breakdown, call list_service_providers with resultFormat=Full.
- send_quote_completion_linkshallow
Sends a checkout/completion link to the customer for a specific quote (by quote key) via SMS and/or Email. THIS MESSAGES THE CUSTOMER.
